When one enters the Tenth Door - Pran Sangli

नानक करणी ब्रह्म सुणि, होइहै संत अधीन ॥२०॥

सहजी दसवें द्वार की, कथा सुनीजै संत ।  

तहाँ प्रकाश झरी घना, तहाँ शशिधरि भ्रांत ॥१॥  

तहाँ चढ़ि मनुज्ञा होइ अकल, तित काल न निरखण जाइ ।  

गुर किरपा उस द्वार महिं, मनुज्ञा सहज समाय ॥  

दसवें द्वारे की कथा, सुनिये संत सुभाय ।  

नानक जीवत ही मरे, जब दसवें द्वारे जाय ॥२१॥

नौ दरवाजे परगटे, दसवैं गुहज स्थान ।  

नौ निरखत सब में बसे, दसवें संत समान ।  

संत भरु जहाँ रवि रहे, जो नौ तं ऊपरि होत ॥

Nanak says: One who lives by righteous action and listens to the Divine Wisdom,
Will surely become a true saint, obedient to the Lord. ॥20॥

Through Sahaj (spontaneous union), listen to the story of the Tenth Door, O Saints!
There shines a dense light, and even the moon seems confused there. ॥1॥

When the mind ascends with understanding beyond time and thought,
In that timeless state, perception itself dissolves.
By the Guru’s grace, at that Door, understanding merges into effortless being (Sahaj).

Listen to the story of the Tenth Door with the gentle nature of saints.
Nanak says, one dies while still living (ego dies),
When one enters the Tenth Door. ॥21॥

The nine doors (sensory outlets) are visible,
But the Tenth is a secret, hidden place.
While watching through the nine, the soul resides in all —
Yet the Tenth is where saints dwell alike.

Blessed is the place where saints remain absorbed in Divine Light (Ravi),
That place is above the nine doors — supreme.

नानक कहते हैं:
जो ब्रह्म को जानने वाला है, वह संतों के अधीन होकर धर्म की करणी करता है। ॥20॥

सहज भाव में, दसवें द्वार की कथा सुनो हे संतों!
वहाँ तेज प्रकाश फैला है, चंद्रमा भी वहाँ फीका लगता है। ॥1॥

जब बुद्धि चढ़कर काल से पार हो जाती है,
उस परम अवस्था में, विचार और कल्पनाएँ मिट जाती हैं।
गुरु की कृपा से उस द्वार पर पहुँचकर
मन की समझ सहज रूप में समाहित हो जाती है।

दसवें द्वार की कथा संतों के साथ प्रेमपूर्वक सुनो।
नानक कहते हैं, जब जीवित रहते हुए अहंकार मर जाए,
तभी दसवें द्वार में प्रवेश संभव है। ॥21॥

नौ द्वार (इन्द्रियों के मार्ग) तो प्रकट हैं,
परंतु दसवां द्वार एक गुप्त और रहस्यमय स्थान है।
नौ द्वारों से जीव सारा संसार देखता है,
लेकिन दसवां द्वार वही जानता है जो संतों के समान हो जाए।

संतजन उस स्थान में रहते हैं जहाँ रवि (प्रकाश/परमात्मा) सदैव विद्यमान है,
वह स्थान इन नौ द्वारों के ऊपर, परम और श्रेष्ठ है।
